Joe Peralta

Joe has been riding for over 40 years. His first bike was a new 1970 Honda 350 that he purchased at Mineola Honda in New York. Originally from Long Island, Joe moved to Northern Virginia in May of 1977 and has resided here ever since. Many bikes proceeded his first Honda; his current ride is a 2002 Harley Davidson Road King.

One of Joe's most memorable(?) motorcycling experiences involves a late springtime trip to Arizona. He and a small group of friends flew into Las Vegas and rented Harley Davidsons, preparing to enjoy a scenic experience through Phoenix, Sedona, Flagstaff, and around the rim of the Grand Canyon. In Phoenix, the group was met by rain - which turned to snow in Sedona. By the time they reached the Grand Canyon, the rim roads were all closed!

Joe's extracurricular interests include back roads motorcycle touring, downhill skiing, gardening, cooking, white water rafting and vacation and travel. He is currently employed as the Director Of Security for a large security organization and is assigned to a real estate/property management site in Arlington, VA.

Joe has been a PARR member since 2000. He has organized multiple club social events such as the annual winter banquet and the autumn picnic. He is currently the 2014 Sergeant at Arms for the club.
